This training course outlines the skills and knowledge required to:

Safely operate forklift trucks
Implement the risk and hazard assessment strategies
Conduct pre-start operational and visibility checks
Log book checks
Suitability of forklift truck and attachment
Working load limit (WLL)
Assessing loads
Safely move loads
Shutdown procedures

Upon successful completion the candidate will be awarded:
Statement of Attainment for TLILIC0003 - Licence to operate a forklift truck.
The necessary interim licence to apply for a High-Risk WorkLicence for Forklift – (LF) in Tasmania.
