New Austroads National Training Framework for Temporary Traffic Management (TTM)
The National Training Framework for Temporary Traffic Management (TTM) provides a nationally harmonised environment for the provision of Temporary Traffic Management training and ensures individuals working in the industry are appropriately trained and maintain currency.
Tasmania
In Tasmania the following courses are required, depending on your role.
TC1 + TMI1 Combined Skill Set
Combined Traffic Controller and Traffic Management Implementer for Urban Streets and Low Volume Rural Roads
TC2 + TMI2 Combined Skill Set
Combined Traffic Controller and Traffic Management Implementer for High Volume Roads
TMD 1 - Skill Set
Traffic Management Designer Skill Set for Urban Streets and Low Volume Rural Roads.
SUBSIDISED QUALIFICATIONS

Apprentice and Trainee Training Fund (User Choice) - TAS - assists Tasmanian workers to complete qualifications.
KEYSTONE Funding
Keystone Tasmania subsidises training for workforce development in the building and construction sectors. Eligible businesses can apply for financial support for their employees to complete accredited courses.
KEYSTONE funding for this course may cover up to 50% of the course fee.
